Dennis Travale is the second mayor of Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada whose tenure has witness a major worldwide economic meltdown starting on September 2008.
His previous attempt at a mayoral election in 2000 resulted in a defeat. Mr. Travale grew up in Delhi, attended elementary school at Delhi Public School and high school at Delhi District Secondary School. He has served in the RCAF from 1963–1973 and joined the federal public service retiring as the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency's Executive Director of Security.[1] One of his notable accomplishments is a wide-scale development of land alongside Simcoe's Queensway Street.
